Bank Account IBAN Verification now supports companies

You can now use Bank Account IBAN Verification for companies, in addition to natural persons.
This update uses the same VOP (Verification of Payee) scheme and does not require any change to your existing integration.

How it works?

To verify a company, use the Bank Account IBAN Verification endpoint with the IBAN and the company name. You can also submit a bank account details document and let Youtrust extract the information.
Coverage remains unchanged. Verification is still available in 20 European countries, including traditional banks and some neobanks. A verification is completed only when the bank that holds the IBAN is registered in the VOP scheme and is part of the supported coverage.

What's new?

When the bank discloses it, the response returns the name registered on the bank account.

  • For natural persons, the registered account holder name may be returned on a close match.
  • For legal persons, it may also be returned on a no match.

We also added and updated several verification status codes for this release. You can find the full list in the verification status page.
