Video Identity and Face Match Identity Verification

Both products read documents through the same engine, so their coverage is identical: Face Match adds a biometric comparison of the face to the document, not a different document scope.

Across 250 countries: 244 accept a passport, 228 a driving licence, 214 an identity card, 180 a travel document and 154 a residence permit.

A residence permit here means any residence-related document issued by the country, and a travel document means the one issued to refugees and stateless persons.

Certified Identity is restricted by the ANSSI PVID referential rather than by what can be read, so its coverage is a different, shorter list: 110 countries. Driving licences are not accepted at all.

Only ordinary documents qualify. Diplomatic, service and temporary ones are excluded. The accepted models are published exhaustively, one line per model with its PRADO code.

Two differences with Image Identity Verification come up often. Driving licences are accepted here and not there. The Italian Tessera Sanitaria is accepted here too, declared as id_card, where Image Identity has a dedicated ita_ts_cns type.
